Thinking about women, I think a lot of us would benefit from friendships where men are not the sole focus. Supporting each other in all areas of life remind women that there’s much more to living than finding a husband. So I’d say, find friends who affirm you in all areas.
Acknowledge feelings rather then argue the facts. Like saying were sorry. Many people have learned that “I’m sorry” is tantamount to an admission of guilt, but “I’m sorry” is really an expression of regret. Regret is the sincere wish that things were not the way they are. We know that the person hurts, and we regret that they are in so much pain.
